Closing Date: 18 September 2025
The South African Police Service has announced its 2025 Internship Programme, giving unemployed graduates across South Africa an opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience. These internships fall under the Graduate Recruitment Scheme and will run for a period of 12 months.
This programme is designed to help graduates put their academic knowledge into practice, gain exposure to public service, and prepare for future careers.
What the Internship Offers
Interns will be placed in different SAPS divisions and provincial offices depending on the needs of the organisation. Areas of work may include:
- Administration and Office Support
- Human Resource Management
- Finance and Supply Chain
- Communications and Language Services

While the internship gives candidates an excellent chance to grow professionally, it is important to note that the contract runs for 12 months and does not guarantee permanent employment.
