Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Worker at the Total Warehouse in Longmeadow. This role involves operating a forklift and performing various general duties, including housekeeping and maintenance tasks. Minimum Requirements:
- Medically fit
- Reliable and safety-conscious
- Prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Clean criminal record
- Own reliable transport to and from work
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively during working hours
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision
- Able to follow reasonable instructions from a supervisor
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
- Forklift operating experience
- Forklift License
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Notify building management of required repairs
- Assist office staff as needed
- Maintain the environment and cleanliness of the warehouse
- Perform general housekeeping tasks
