About the Learnership Programme

The Sanlam Corporate Learnership Programme offers young, enthusiastic South Africans from designated groups an opportunity to gain practical work experience while completing a national qualification. This 12-month programme is part of Sanlam’s Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) and creates a direct pathway into junior-level permanent positions within the organisation for top-performing learners.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand Sanlam products, services, and operational systems
  • Attend classroom-based lessons and complete workplace training
  • Maintain and submit logbooks for workplace-based learning
  • Complete formative and summative assessments successfully
  • Perform duties as assigned by the manager

Minimum Requirements

  • South African citizen, aged 18–35 years
  • Not currently employed and not holding a tertiary qualification
  • Grade 12 with minimum 50% in Mathematics / Mathematics Literacy / Accounting and English
  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
  • Willing to commit to the 12-month programme
  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Access to reliable transport
