Job Purpose
Join PEP as a Part-Time Sales Assistant and become part of a culture focused on growth, fun, and helping customers look and feel their best. As a “Dynamo,” you’ll promote sales, prevent stock loss, manage inventory, assist customers, operate the till, and help maintain a low-cost, high-performance store.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store
- Operate the cash register and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Promote sales, upsell products, and provide excellent customer service
- Inform customers about current promotions and deals
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
- Keep up with product knowledge and display merchandise effectively
- Help receive, manage, and organise stock
- Work towards achieving daily sales targets
- Follow security and stock handling procedures to minimise losses
Requirements
- Education: Matric
- Experience in:
- Cashiering
- Customer Service
- Sales
- General Assistant / Retail Assistant
- Language: English
- Must live within 15 km of Patensie
- Clear criminal record
Preferences (Advantageous but not mandatory)
- South African candidates
- Computer literate
- Passion for retail and customer service
- Age: Between 20 and 35
