Minimum Requirements

• Education:
  • General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7)
  • Home Based Care or Ancillary Health Certificate (AHC) – 6-month accredited course
• Experience:
  • Appropriate experience working as a Carer in a healthcare setting
• Age Requirement:
  • Must be between 18 – 35 years old
• Other Requirements:
  • Good interpersonal relations with supervisors, colleagues, and the public
  • Ability to function effectively in a team
  • Physically able to lift patients and stand for long hours

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the basic needs of patients
• Support nursing staff with the admission and discharge of patients
• Maintain a professional and healthy work environment
• Assist with administrative duties

Stipend

• R 57,288 per annum
