Job Overview

As a Financial Consultant, you’ll provide advice on a specific range of products to a defined target market. You’ll be individually accountable for achieving results through your own efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Handle routine customer service tasks and basic inquiries.

Visitor Support

• Receive visitors and help with general information or direct them to relevant staff.

CRM Data Management

• Ensure customer information is accurate and log follow-ups and sales activity notes.

Customer Needs Clarification

• Conduct structured interviews to understand customer requirements using sales scripts.

Relationship Development & Prospecting

• Initiate contact (phone or in person) with potential customers.
• Serve as the first point of contact for resolving queries and complaints.

Compliance

• Follow internal procedures and adhere to external regulations and internal codes of conduct.

Business Development Support

• Assist with routine tasks that support business growth by following set procedures.

Sales Opportunity Creation

• Generate leads through referrals and recommendations from current clients.

Data Handling

• Input customer data into spreadsheets or standard templates.

Networking

• Build and contribute to a network of people, ideas, and technologies both within and outside the company.

Minimum Requirements

• National Certificate (Nat Cert) – Required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or customer service, preferably in:
  • Retail
  • Banking
  • Financial Services
