Job Purpose
To maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene at the Necsa site by performing routine and deep-cleaning services across buildings and designated areas in line with Necsa and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, stock, and maintain assigned areas.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces.
- Dispose of trash from bins and containers.
- Perform detailed and deep-cleaning tasks.
- Report maintenance issues or required repairs to management.
- Restock and organize cleaning supplies.
- Undertake heavy cleaning and special ad-hoc projects.
- Comply with SHEQ requirements, including Behavior-Based Safety (BBS).
- Adhere to workplace safety practices.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum: Grade 10
- Proven experience in a similar cleaning role
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and materials
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
