About the EPWP Opportunity
The Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) at the City of Johannesburg is offering short-term cleaning jobs at Opportunity Centres. The role involves keeping facilities clean, safe, and welcoming while providing support during meetings, training, and workshops.
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen
- Reside within the jurisdiction of the City of Johannesburg
- Grade 10 (Grade 12 advantageous)
- No experience required
- Persons with disabilities encouraged to apply (proof of disability required)
Primary Function
- Perform cleaning, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and washing duties in and around the Opportunity Centre
- Empty trash bins regularly
- Prepare and serve beverages during meetings, training, and workshops
