About the Opportunity
Anglo American is inviting unemployed youth residing in the Tsantsabane Local Municipality to apply for the Mining Learnership Programme 2025 at Kolomela Mine.
This 18-month programme is designed to provide skills development, experiential learning and exposure to open-cast mining and heavy mobile equipment in a real mining environment.
What the Programme Offers
- Monthly stipend / allowance for the duration of the programme
- 18-month accredited skills programme (including workplace-based training)
- Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Exposure to a leading mining and minerals company
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Technical N3 Certificate
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence
- Successfully passed medical job-fit assessments (RFA)
- Ability to obtain or already in possession of a valid Kolomela VTS (Dover)
- Mining learnership will only commence after successful VTS Dover and valid Fitness Certificate (RFA)
- Residents of Tsantsabane Municipality only (Age: 18 – 35 years)
