These learnerships aim to develop critical skills in Diesel Mechanic, Electrical, Fitter, and Boilermaker disciplines. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be unemployed.
- Submit an updated CV.
- Provide a certified copy of your ID.
- Provide a certified Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Include proof of residence.
- Candidates will undergo suitability checks (qualifications, employment, and criminal records).
- Successful candidates must complete a medical fitness test.

Duties and Responsibilities
Learners accepted into the programme will benefit from exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Assisting with inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and mechanical systems.

- Helping in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and wiring.
- Acquiring skills to assemble, fit, and repair machinery and mechanical components.
- Maintaining pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and valves.
- Gaining experience in fabricating and assembling structural metal components.
This practical exposure ensures that participants graduate with industry-ready skills that make them highly employable in South Africa’s mining and engineering sectors.
