SASSA NORTHEN CAPE

Position: Grants Administrator (2 Posts)

Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 5) — excluding benefits
Positions:

Namakwa District — Port Nolloth Local Office – Ref No: SAS 25/09/06
ZF Mgcawu District — Kakamas Local Office – Ref No: SAS 25/09/07

Minimum Requirements

Senior Certificate (Matric) and/or NQF Level 4 qualification with Computer literacy is required.
Added advantage: a valid driver’s licence and/or administrative/clerical experience.

Key Responsibilities

Administer social grants at local office level; provide customer care; process grant applications and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Screen and verify documents and capture applications on the system. Ensure quality control of grant applications and adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3)
