Location: Western Cape, Georgeweg CC, Mossel Bay Sub-district, Garden Route District

Salary: R82 041 – R96 642 per annum
Includes service benefits such as a 13th cheque, employer’s contribution to the pension fund, housing, and medical aid allowance.

Minimum Requirements:

Appropriate cleaning experience in a health environment
Basic numeracy and literacy

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance (dusting, sweeping, polishing, scrubbing, mopping, cleaning windows, walls, equipment, machinery, and refuse removal)
Ensure effective waste and linen management
Efficient use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment
Support supervisors and colleagues with general housekeeping duties
Maintain hygienic and safe environment according to standard procedures

Knowledge and Skills:

Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Appropriate knowledge of handling and disposal of refuse and waste
Understanding of relevant legislation and policies of the Department of Health and Wellness related to cleaning practices

Other Requirements:

Physically able to lift and move heavy objects and supplies
Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment
Willingness to rotate to other clinics within the sub-district
