This opportunity is targeted at unemployed youth who are eager to gain workplace exposure, develop critical skills, and kick-start their careers in logistics and supply chain.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a participant in the Yes 4 Youth – VW Programme, you will:

• Gain valuable on-the-job training in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Work under the guidance of team leaders and managers to fulfil tasks.
• Take responsibility for loading and offloading, following safety and operational procedures.
• Uphold DHL’s values of service, quality, and sustainability while developing your career path.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn and adhere to client requirements.
• Build knowledge to ensure proper use of equipment and report defects.
• Report and record non-conformities with customer merchandise.
• Operate within designated areas as determined by management.
• Follow procedures and safe working practices at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Matric (with English & Mathematics/Literacy) – Essential
• South African citizens only
• Unemployed youth aged 18 – 29
• BBB-EE candidates preferred
• Valid driver’s license (Code 08) – Desirable
• Forklift/Reach Truck license – Desirable
• Must submit:
