This 18-month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme is designed to provide TVET graduates and unemployed youth with hands-on workplace training, mentorship, and exposure to the logistics and supply chain industry.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Work Integrated Non-Technical Learner role under the Transnet Learnership Programme 2025 aims to:
- Bridge the gap between academic knowledge and workplace practice.
- Provide graduates with structured training, operational exposure, and mentorship.
- Enhance employability through practical experience in HR and administration.
POSITION OUTPUTS
Task Execution
- Support departmental projects and work streams.
- Perform operational and administrative duties under supervision.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and office coordination.
Learning & Development
- Attend workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programmes.
- Shadow professionals to gain real industry experience.
- Engage in problem-solving activities to improve analytical skills.
Communication & Collaboration
- Work with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Provide task updates and contribute to project progress.
- Collaborate effectively with peers and supervisors.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to Transnet policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
- N6 HR Management qualification (TVET College).
- Must be a South African citizen, aged 18–35 years.
- Preference will be given to People with Disabilities.
- Applicants must not have an active bursary obligation with another company.
