
Kopanang Gold Mine is offering training opportunities through the Engineering Artisan Learnership Programme (18.2) for unemployed youth in and around KOSH, Viljoenskroon, Rammulotsi, and Vierfontein. This programme provides learners with the chance to develop technical skills in the mining sector while receiving a monthly stipend for the duration of the learnership.

Successful applicants will be considered for the following trades:
- Fitter
- Instrumentation
- Boilermaker
- Rigging
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Preference will be given to candidates aged 18 to 35 years.
- Must be a South African Citizen.
- Provide proof of residence (water and lights account or signed affidavit).
- Minimum of N2 Qualification or Technical Grade 12 Certificate with mathematics, science, relevant trade theory, and engineering drawing for the specific learnership/trade.
- Medically fit for underground work.
- Must pass a security screening.
Learners enrolled in the programme will receive a monthly stipend.
Who Can Apply?
- Unemployed South African youth.
- Candidates who have not previously participated in similar learnership programmes.
This is a career development opportunity, and while the programme enhances employability, Kopanang Mine is under no obligation to employ candidates after completion.
